Content upload

VIISAS Application enables users to take a video or a picture with phone's camera or record a sound and automatically upload it to the server. Phone's camera and microphone can be activated anyware in any service. Video chat can activate the camera to add a video message or user can directly use his camera as he adds his own picture to the his profile. Music recognition can activate the microphone to record a music sample.

Content upload does not need to save anything in the phone, thus saving memory but also in some services the benefit is that the end-user does not get a copy of the content.

VIISAS upload enables big contents to be uploaded. VIISAS Application can give a lot of information to the user before upload and later the user can be asked to accept legal terms. VIISAS Server supports also MMS receiving, but MMS has size limits and user has to remember a short code. VIISAS upload is easier to use, there is no size problems and the upload function can be part of the service.

Content upload is supported on Nokia's S60V2 and S60V3 handsets, newer S40 phones, SonyEricsson phones and Samsung phones.
Content download VIISAS 5 offers "try-before-you-buy" functionalties for almost any content. VIISAS 5 has many prelistening modes and videos, sounds, pictures, animations and slide-shows can be used in content previews. VIISAS 5 automates downloading and installes and activates the content automaticly for the user. VIISAS supports all content types, all billing methods and all DRM methods.

Content download is supported on almost every phone in the market by using VIISAS Application or phone's browser.
PC as content source VIISAS PC enables users to use their PC's content with their mobile phone via any mobile network. Users can view PC content and transfer it to mobile phone or, for example, take pictures with their mobile phone and get pictures automatically to the PC.

VIISAS PC supports Windows XP and Vista.

Other content sources VIISAS 5 support content streaming and live streaming, web mashup integration, many real-time integration methods and batch transfers.

Scalable Server

VIISAS Server has been tested with hundreds of thousands users. It has the scalability. All administration, reporting, integration, content optimization etc. features that are needed in a large scale service are included.

VIISAS Server operates on Linux servers. It can be distributed to multiple of servers for scalability and redundancy.
